In its commitment to conservation, Giti Tire sponsored the “Green Transport” category of the Sustainable Innovation Student Competition (SISC), a program initiated by 51 Sim to encourage students to propose innovative and sustainable ideas that can help in the conservation of environment. The winning team is C-Fingerprint, a team of four students from Zhongshan University. They designed a biometric payment system for vehicle refueling that incentivizes fuel conservation. Mr. Wu Zhimin, Giti Tire Executive Director(Sales and Marketing), said that it is encouraging to foster young intellectuals to be more aware of their roles in environment conservation. He hopes more young students could develop more sustainable programs to meet this very important need of conservation for the good of our planet.
