GitiCompete Drift 1 Series, a proud product of Giti Tire, introduced a new size to make this competition tire series more complete. To complement the current 235/45 ZR17 product, the new 255/35 ZR18 has been specially designed to provide increased traction, optimized footprint and grip for exceptional acceleration, stability and braking, especially when used as the rear tire of higher powered drift cars.

At the World Drift Series held in Hangzhou, 30th April – 2nd May 2010, the event witnessed the fact that more drift drivers used the GitiCompete Drift 1 competition tires than any other makes. Even veteran drift driver and seasoned competitor, Mr. Shi Jian Min, opted to change to GitiCompete Drift 1 tires in the final stages, for the added competitive advantage. After the event, a thankful Shi Jian Min exclaimed: “Thank you Giti Tire for the GitiCompete Drift1 tires that helped me win 4th position amongst world class drivers.” Giti / Wan An Team driver, Mr. Dai Xiao Xiang was the runner-up, whilst the event was won by Mr. Zhang Shao Hua.
