Riding on the back of its recent success with the Shanghai Bus Group, Giti Tire featured its star products, the City Bus Tire GT 867 and the Coach Tire GAL 811 at the BusWorld Asia 2010, communicating hard hitting end user benefits. Very professional support materials in the form of product video presentations, leaflets and “cut-out section” of a tire, showed in detail the intricate tire construction and components to allow the visiting customers fully understand the technical advances made within the product designs. Giti Tire also held a technical seminar which was packed with an overwhelming 130 end users of the bus and coach industry of China. The seminar highlighted the importance of tire selection, tire maintenance, retreading and tire rolling resistance along with its impact on fuel consumption. A lively debate followed the seminar concerning the correct methods to determine the tire inflation pressure for various vehicle applications and information showing how to reduce tire costs through correct selection and professional maintenance. The Giti Tire technical seminar was designed to help bus and coach operators to use fewer tires, drive down cost, and ensure safe vehicle operation.
