Embracing a new design gramework of: Automation, Intelligence, Digitsation and Greening, Giti's newest factory in Anhui, China utilises advanced machinery and technology to progress further into sustainable manufacturing, and acts as the template for future improvements across all its manufacturing facilities.

In 2024, Giti Tire reaffirmed its commitment to biodiversity by joining the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber in nature investments, with a focus on conserving the critically endangered Sumatran elephants. Following this renewed commitment, Giti is partnering with Forum Konservasi Gajah Indonesia to support habitat studies and elephant movement monitoring into the future.

Sustainability runs deep, even with Giti's upper management. Giti Group CEO, Dr Enki Tan has supported formation of Marine Protected Areas and whale shark satellite tagging and protection through the Blue Halo S concept of Conservation back in 2022.
In 2024, Dr Tan announced the launch of the Blue Intelligence Resource Unit (BIRU) in Indonesia, marking a significant step in advancing marine conservation and sustainability efforts across the Asia-Pacific region. BIRU serves as a hub for research, innovation, and collaboration, focusing on the sustainable development of marine and coastal ecosystems.

Across both China and Indonesia, Giti continues to promote the conseration of local flora and biodiversity. The efforts to conserve trees goes beyond the aesthetic and economic benefits, but also builds towards Giti's ability to deliver net zero products to the market through in-house sequestration of carbon that is generated during manufacturing. In 2024, Giti's Anhui factory successfully transplanted a total of 55 trees to the area near dormitory buildings in the new plant. This included 4 red-leaf plum trees, 27 osmanthus trees, and 10 crape myrtle trees, significantly enhancing the ecological environment of the new factory.
In Indonesia, the Bunder Arboretum is one of the Company’s green open spaces. Located approximately 5 km from the factory, in Pasir Jaya Village, it spans over 5 hectares of land, where more than 14,300 trees of various species have been planted. In 2024, there were 20,835 seedlings produced and 15,319 new trees planted in the Arboretum.
