Giti's All-Female Team Wins First in Class at Final 2019 Nürburgring VLN Race
Throughout the nine-race high-profile VLN series held at Nürburgring this year, the Giti’s Angels 300 WV Golf VII GTI TCR car has performed very competitively.
However – despite coming very close - during the season they had not been able to win first place in their highly competitive SP3T class. That all changed at the final VLN race of 2019. After four hours of racing, the team finished the turnaround to take the SP3T class championship, becoming the first-ever all female racing team to win its class in international motorsports competition.
This victory followed an inspiring performance at the 24 Hours Nürburgring race, where the team overcame a severely damaged engine, working for 13 hours to overhaul the machine and finish the race with great determination.
