Endurance Series
Established in Germany during the 1920’s, Nürburgring (also known as the “Green Hell”) is one of the world’s most famous and notorious racetracks. These races gather top teams from around the world to race in Germany. Giti has been extremely successful in its efforts at the racing events, including placing #1 and #2 in the SP8 Class in 2019 with its Audi R8 Duo, and debuting its groundbreaking "Giti’s Angels team". In 2020, Giti is again returning to the legendary track with four vehicles.
24 Hours Nürburgring
The 24-Hour Race demonstrates that Nürburgring is among the best tire testing grounds in the world. With a mix of extreme and constantly changing sun, rain, heat, and cold, the GitiCompete GTR1 at tires are put to intensive tests during each lap. The Nürburgring 24 Hours Race draws more than 200,000 spectators from around the world, and is among the most famous races of its type globally.
The same technology used to develop these racing tires is also used for regular drivers in their vehicles, providing a great value to all drivers that benefit from racing at the “Ultimate Proving Ground”. In addition, the results and data obtained from the testing is used for future product development and improvements. After three years of successful participation in the famous race, the Giti team has gained notoriety at the event and is excited to return in 2020.
Nürburgring Endurance Series
In addition to the 24-Hours Race, additional Enduance racing events are held throughout the year with the same vehicles participating. Giti has had strong success in the races, and in 2019 Giti’s Girls Only team was the first ever all-female team to win at the event, taking first in their group in the final race.
To be able to take on this track requires the best drivers, best training, and best tires. Giti Tire is proud to participate in the Endurance Series for the fourth straight year, this year again bringing four vehicles for each of the races.
