Giti Tire expands its AdvanZtech EV Ready lineup with the new GitiWinterW2—engineered for EVs, hybrids, and ICE vehicles. Ready for the 2025/26 winter season.
Described by the manufacturer as an ‘electrifying offer’ when launched, the Giti AdvanZtech EV ready tyres strategy is getting hotter with the GitiWinterW2 joining the line-up.
The first winter tyre in the programme, it comprises 17 sizes from 15” through to 20” rims with the AdvanZtech EV ready sidewall logo signifying their correct selection across internal combustion engine (ICE), mild and plug-in hybrid (MHEV and PHEV) and battery electric (BEV) vehicles.
Available to order now for the 2025/26 season, the range covers small vehicles from the Fiat 500e through to the Tesla Model3 and the best-selling VW Tiguan and Volvo XC60 PHEV SUV models.
Each tyre has been finetuned prior to selection to include torque stress for control and low rolling resistance for extended mileage without compromising its snow and wet performance characteristics.
The manufacturer’s key achievements for the GitiWinterW2 are a quiet and comfortable ride, safety without worry and precise control.
The Giti AdvanZtech EV ready tyres strategy was first unveiled in August 2024 incorporating both the GitiSportS2 and GitiSynergyH2 summer patterns, which the manufacturer called ‘an electrifying offer’.
The GitiWinterW2, GitiSportS2 and GitiSynergyH2 were designed and engineered utilising AdvanZtech, Giti Tire’s globally-integrated, company-wide R&D system at the manufacturer’s European Research & Development Centre in Hannover, Germany.
Fabio Pecci-Boriani, Deputy General Manager for Product Planning PCR and LTR, Giti Tire R&D Centre (Europe), said: “The Giti brand was among the first in the mid-market to introduce an EV ready concept, ensuring maximum flexibility and product clarity for dealers and peace of mind for drivers.
“As is proven winter can have an impact on the performance of part-electric and electric vehicles with lower temperatures reducing battery range and immediate torque levels being tricky on slippery roads, the Giti AdvanZtech EV ready GitiWinterW2 goes a long way to addressing these issues.”
