Giti’s OEM partnerships already extend to a large number of top manufacturers around the world, and the company has been awarded with recognition from General Motors and others. Totally, Giti Tire supplies fitments to more than 660 are, truck, and bus models worldwide – including throughout Asia, as well as in the US, Europe, and other regions.

Giti Produces AA-Rated EU Label Tire For VW in Europe
Giti Tire has produced its first AA-rated EU label tyre, the GitiSynergyH2 for OE fitment on the VW Caddy 5, one of the best-selling commercial vehicles in Europe.
The brand new tire, which will be launched in the aftermarket in March 2021, was selected in size 215/55R17 XL 98H.
The tire was designed and engineered at Giti Tire’s European Research & Development Centre in Hannover, with testing at the company’s MIRA facility in the UK as well as key locations in Germany and Spain. The results are a completely new developed tread compound which delivers significant improvements in wet and dry safety while the new pattern layout provides precise and stable handling behavior and a tangible improvement in aquaplaning resistance.
The mileage potential, dependent upon driving characteristics, could be improved by almost 20% while the new lightweight carcass delivers low rolling resistance which improves fuel efficiency.

Renault Development with Giti Includes Dacia Sandero and Logan Models
Giti Tire’s close relationship with Groupe Renault has been further reinforced with the GitiSynergyE1 selected as OE fitment for the new Dacia Sandero and Logan models.
Production started in the Renault factories in October utilizing size 185/65R15 88H.
The GitiSynergyE1 utilizes the manufacturer’s next generation technology and smart solutions to deliver a tire that achieves low rolling resistance while ensuring ride comfort and safety on wet and dry roads.
The tire was designed and engineered at Giti Tire’s European Research & Development Centre in Hannover, with testing at the company’s MIRA facility in the UK as well as key locations in Germany and Spain.

VW Crafter Light Truck Development
Giti Tire has secured its first European light commercial vehicle OE fitment with the GitiVanHD1 tire being selected for the award-winning VW Crafter.
The GitiVanHD1 features the latest generation of tread compound for good wet grip and high mileage performance, a reinforced sidewall construction and a robust shoulder block design for stable handling under high loads.
The tire was designed and engineered at Giti Tire’s European Research & Development Centre in Hannover, with testing at the company’s MIRA facility in the UK as well as key locations in Germany and Spain.
With the VW Crafter named as Parkers’ 2020 Best Large Van of the Year, size 205/70R17 C115/113R will be mounted on the front and rear axles, with the rear axle a twin fitment to distribute the load across four tires. The VW Crafter is built in Wreszenia, Poland for the European market.

Expanded Usage with Proton
In Malaysia, following the supply for the Proton X70 with Giti Comfort SUV520 and has now been chosen as an OE tire supplier for the new Proton X50 SUV.
The Giti Comfort SUV520 combines the right balance of top comfort and high performance, in both wet and dry conditions. Giti Comfort SUV520 has built-in AdvanZtech tire silencing technology, using advanced computer calculation methods to get the most optimized pattern design, minimizing driving noise.
