Giti Tire Announces Upcoming Motorsports Schedule

With the weather warming up and racing on people’s minds, Giti Tire is ready to rev up its motorsports for the months ahead! Following a successful Formula 3 Asia series in Jan-Feb, the rest of the year will bring Giti Tire through Europe, North America, and even Africa. Involving truck racing, a desert rally, a return to Nürburgring, and even digital racing – the season is action-packed with something for everyone.

All of Giti’s sponsored races use actual Giti Tire products, and include branding on the vehicle. These tires have gone through extensive testing and preparation, and are managed by Giti’s in-house R&D and motorsports support teams to ensure the success of the drivers and vehicles involved. As “The Ultimate Proving Ground”, racetracks allow for the ability to consistently test tires in the toughest of environments,

24 Hours Nürburgring (June 3 - 6) and Endurance Series (March - Oct) – Four high-powered vehicles take Giti to one of the world’s most famous competitions for the 5th straight year. The groundbreaking all-female Girls Only team is returning, and this year Giti is also adding to BMW racers to their mix of Audi and VW cars.

British Truck Racing Championship (May - Nov) – Competition truck racing with Giti tires takes some of the toughest tracks in Europe. The technology and testing is continuously developed to help expand on Giti’s commercial truck and bus offerings.

UK Fun Cup (May - Nov) – Giti is returning again to the UK Fun Cup, packing in high-powered racing into small and fast vehicles for entertaining racing action. All cars will us Giti tires, and the company will have both a Giti and GT Radial fully branded vehicle

Formula DRIFT USA (May - Oct) – Giti is returning to North America’s premiere drifting series this year, with retuning and new drivers. This exciting series is sure to bring a lot of attention and exciting video clips of high-powered action. 

Formula V1 Philippines (May - Oct) – The Formula V1 series in the Philippines utilizes modified and creatively branded formula vehicles for an exciting experience. The series allows for growth among its drivers and the ability to compete in a serious way that still encourages community and fun interaction.  

Rallye des Gazelles (Sept 17 - Oct 2) – Giti’s all-female Giti Gazelles are taking to the deserts of Morocco for this classic and exciting rally, which was moved from May to September because of travel restrictions. Utilizing Giti4x4 tires, they are excited to show off the tires to the world, and Giti is also supporting local community environment and education programs at the same time. 

Digital Racing (Throughout Year) – Giti has dozens of branded racing cars taking on simulation events around the world. With huge growth in popularity, these events are gaining a lot of views and exposure.

Other Events – Giti will participate in other exciting racing and lifestyle activiites throughout the year, such as the Berlin Marathon (Sept 26), Kitesurf World Cup (Aug 17-22), Kart racing, and more. Be sure to keep a watch out on Giti media to see the exciting updates.
